March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Month!!🧡🧡

Happy New Month to you all! Grace and Peace.
March is Multiple Sclerosis Awareness month. I wanted to bring attention and awareness to an “invisible disease” that is affecting our love ones and African American women at a higher rate according to recent studies. Multiple sclerosis is an autoimmune disease that affects more than 2.3 million people worldwide. It is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system that disrupts the flow of information within the brain and between the brain and the body. This disease has a range of symptoms that can come and go or be permanent. From numbness and tingling, to blindness and paralysis, this disease is one no one has all the answers for and is yet being studied. Advances in treating and understanding MS are made every year; however there is still no cure for it. I Personally know of people that are affected to a great extent by this illness and would like bring awareness and donate to this cause. This month 15% of our sales will go toward donating to the National MS Society. I have also included the website for you to receive more information about this disease within this blog and I hope that you will share and read to get an understanding. Thank you to all who support Ohemaa’s Market.
