Adaw Organization Holiday Giving 🫶🏾

Seasons Greetings to you and your family. I would like to take a moment and just give a huge thank you to each and everyone of you for shopping in our market. Because of you, people all over the world have been able to shop and wear African accessories and luxury skincare daily! Rather you buy one or you buy 6, our love and commitment to you never changes and we truly appreciate your loyalty to us. 

This holiday season, we will be partnering again with ADAW ORGANIZATION. This is nonprofit located in Nigeria whose focus is catered to single mothers and widows. So far through ADAW ORGANIZATION, some women have been able to take learning skill courses like hair dressing, sewing and take market positions in order to learn a skill or trade that will help sustain them. 

Our role this season will be to give a percentage of our sales to help contribute to a holiday giving that will gift single mothers and widows with gifts like raw foods, clothing and toys for their children this holiday. As the owner of Ohemaa’s Market, my passion has always been to give back to single women with children. I was once a single mother and therefore my heart goes out to those in need. Can you imagine not being able to put up a Christmas tree and wake up your children with lots of gifts underneath to open? Or in this season only being able to provide them with food because you don’t have the funds to do anything else? Let us take a moment and really think about how these women may feel. For some, this season may feel like a burden more than a joyous holiday. 

We can change that. We can put smiles on their faces and lift that burden! I promise you God will reward those who give to those in need.
